The Whole Internet Is Boycotting The Kardashians

Kardashians

The beginning of the end is here. Maybe.

After too many seasons, an absurd number of Instagram followers, and more money than we can imagine, people are finally getting tired of the Kardashians. Not only that, people who once nodded along in Kardash-filled discussions, followed the fam on social media because they felt like they had to, and had to act like they cared when drama broke surrounding the sisters, are finally starting to speak up.

It all started when a video of a news anchor who literally walked away from a Kardashian discussion went viral.

People everywhere were like, “wait! I hate them too!” So, in a savvy move to grab attention and steal the spotlight start a revolution, Perez Hilton decided to run with the sudden support of, well, not supporting the Kardashians.

On Kylie’s 18th birthday, the most hated Hollywood gossip columnist proposed a Kardashian blackout.

From Perez Hilton:

Do U ever feel like there’s just TOO MUCH Kardashian news out there?????

Well if so, then you’re in luck, because PerezHilton.com will not be posting a single story about the Keeping Up with The Kardashian family for an entire week!!!

From August 17-21, you can come here for all of the juiciest entertainment news without having to be bombarded by Kim Kardashian, Caitlyn Jenner, and everyone in between!

All Kardashians, Jenners and their boyfriends/husbands/exes! Their kids too!!!

So what will we be covering in their place?

Instead of the Kardashian klan, next week we’ll be highlighting DAILY inspiring stories about amazing women from all around the world!

Will U be keeping up with our Kardashian break??

#NoKardashiansForAWeek

Despite the absolutely atrocious use of exclamation points and grammar, it’s a pretty interesting concept. There’s no way in hell it will work, but whatever. Might as well use that time to be useful now that the internet will be unclogged of Kardash stuff. You know, to do things like promote your personal brands, get Instagram famous, and get discovered as the star you really are. Basically, we can all use this week to try to become the next Kardashians. Still, people are pretty pumped about this whole media movement.

See you on the 21st, ladies. In the meantime, I have an empire to build. #NoKardashiansForAWeek

While judging people based on how they use "they're" vs. "there" on social media, she likes eating buffalo chicken dip, watching other people's Netflix, and wearing sweatpants way more than is socially acceptable.
