1. The Spice Girls Reunited

I don’t care who you are, every girl of our generation has spiced up her life at one point or another. This year, the Spice Girls performed at the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, and it was absolutely epic. Sure, the only one who’s done anything relevant since they disbanded is Victoria Beckham, but in my mind, the Spice Girls will always be the best musical act of our childhood, and seeing them perform together on stage during the summer of 2012 was not only a highlight of the year, but probably the highlight of the decade.
