Quota is the number of girls that a house can give bids to during recruitment, and it is based on the number of girls going through recruitment and how many houses there are. (example: 4 houses and 100 girls going through recruitment, quota = 25 girls for each house). Total is the total number of girls that a house can possibly take. (example: Your individual house’s total is 100 women, thus you can ONLY have up to 100 members. If you have 100 members then you can only take new members during recruitment.). Having ALL of the sororities on campus give out the maximum number of bids that they can and retaining all of the girls who accepted those bids is a great accomplishment. On top of that, having each house reach the maximum number of members is BIG BIG deal and is super awesome!
