    glitter sperrys: TSM or NS?

Just found these sequined ones: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/sperry-top-sider-bahama-sequined-boat-shoe/3167005?origin=keywordsearch&resultback=215

I bought the sequined ones in white this summer, and I think the are absolutely adorable. But i would have never bought the colored ones, they just look tacky.

I personally wouldn’t buy the sequined ones just because with my luck, I’d wear them on a day it rained or something and ruin them. But the white ones aren’t too bad for more ‘dressy’ occasions. The ‘in’ thing among some people here are Toms (I find them hideous), and I think the glitter Toms are horrid.

I’m looking for a book bag and I’ve heard a lot on here about Longchamp. Which size/style/handle length would you recommend? Le Cabas or Le Pillage?

I deff recommend the Longchamp La Pliage tote bag, I have it in graphite and its the perfect size for folders and books.

    What size? Med, Large, XL?

    I like Medium!

The really, really, large ones are great for weekend trips too. Think of it as a replacement for that VB duffel we all had in junior high ;)

Would the large be able to fit a 15 inch macbook pro? And then have room for anything else I want to throw in there?

I have the super big one and it definitely has room. In fact, sometimes I wish it was only the large! Mine fits my macbook with 6+ inches to spare, and it’s great for some weekend trips (although I am partial to my very plain VB duffel–hides dirt better). It manages to fit…again, with room to spare…a macbook, my iPad, water bottle, empty coffee tumbler, 2-4 notebooks, planner, and a change of shoes

My boyfriend just got me the HUGE Longchamp bag (that way I can take it on weekend trips/use it as a carryon) and I’m having trouble figuring out how to organize the inside. I’m used to a Coach tote that has plenty of pockets, but it was too small for my grad school needs 🙁 Anyone have any suggestions? Cute pencil cases and things like that?

In terms of fall fashion, I’m in search of the perfect pair of riding boots on a grad school budget. I’m still in love with the classic Polo crewneck cable sweater, and I have a Burberry chunky knit sweater I love too (hello cold Northern climate!). I’m really not a fan of Banana or J. Crew all that much, I feel like their clothes are too big on me. For jeans I love Joe’s, they’re super comfortable and actually fit me with minimal alterations. I definitely don’t like the ‘block heel’ trend that some designers are pushing, I just think it looks stocky and makes me look like I have super short legs!

Best websites for shopping: Asos (British company, cheap way to get trendy items you don’t want to spend much money on!), RueLaLa (flash sales…everything from Vineyard Vines to Lilly to Vera, I’ve even seen Louie/Gucci/Prada on there), Gilt Groupe (same concept, more obscure and upscale designers)
