i love J. Crew cardigans! Vineyard Vines has some really cute ones coming out in the fall, plus their fleece are super cute. I’m from the north as well, and it can get really cold during night time football games!
And if you love flats, you’ll love the sperry angelfish flats. I wear mine everywhere, they go perfectly with skinny jeans. I also bought a pair of Sperry rainboots, but I’m still debating about adding Hunters to my wardrobe. I just can’t decide if I want black or if I should go with a fun color. I don’t really know about animal print, I’m not the biggest fan, but I do love floral print, so I will be wearing a lot of that. I got black Hunters last year but returned them for the hot pink ones. Everyone on my campus has the black and the pink is just so much more fun! I say go for a color!
