Last night’s Bachelorette episode was like Survivor, except for the fact that the men would rather vote themselves off than be the last man standing with Ashley.
For all the Gatsby fans out there, Tom Carson has written a novel titled “Daisy Buchanan’s Daughter” that chronicles the life of Pamela Buchanan, the daughter of Daisy and Tom from ” The Great Gatsby”. I haven’t read it yet, but it looks like a great book!
I’m in the middle of rereading some of the Edith Wharton classics – fabulous summer reads! “The Age of Innocence” is one of my absolute favorite novels.
I would just like to commend everyone who has posted on here about their favorite sport(s) for defying the stereotype of sorority women being obsessed with being naturally thin and/or obsessed with one’s weight. As silverbordeaux said in her column, “eating disorders are not a Total Sorority Move”. However, being athletic and doing activities you love is definitely a TSM – it keeps you both healthy and happy! Snaps to all for being so vocal about staying in shape and for also being so supportive of one another. Keep it up, ladies!
Definitely anything related to horses – I’ve ridden for years and absolutely love it, so snaps to all the ladies who are fellow equestriennes! Sailing and tennis are obvs srat sports. Also, every sorority woman should know how to golf and ski well.
As a fellow DG sister, I’m embarrassed by this post. Being petty is NS and also not Panhellenic. Just be grateful that DG was one of the winners this round and don’t delight in the misfortune of another organization.

It goes without saying that Norts are an essential part of the sratty wardrobe. What style of Norts is everyone’s favorite?
so glad someone quoted Breakfast at Tiffany’s – it’s my absolute favorite film!
I love the next part of that quote: “Omigod! Let’s all go! ROAD TRIP!”
Agreed. Sorority women don’t fail at anything. Unless you mean you got a B on your exam instead of an A?
