I just went through recruitment this past Fall and at the houses I was offered a lot of different things, but sometimes I politely declined them simply because I didn’t like those types of things… and I would rather politely decline, than attempt to eat it and be unable to control my facial expression and reaction to something I’m just not fond of. For example, I hate cheesecake and I don’t like strawberries and that’s exactly what was offered on pref day, I didn’t eat or drink (sparkling strawberry drink) anything… and I still got a bid! 😀
