I mean I guess for me, physical violence is never okay so I didn’t see that point of view. No matter how upset I am at my boyfriend (just an example) I will never hit him and I expect the same from him.
Wow, that’s terrible. I am really confused with how you worded the article though. “I’m all for feminism but a man just beat a woman”. When would equality ever equal beating one another up and it being ok? If a woman did this to a guy I would still be as appalled.
As an Alpha Phi, I’m not a fan of how this is written. I understand that scandals occur in many chapters but I feel this negatively portrays Alpha Phi. Please do not let one girl dictate an entire chapter or sorority’s reputation. I know that the point of this article is to prove this girl shouldn’t be Miss America but the facts on here haven’t been verified and the examples of hazing can be misinterpreted. Just my opinion.
Although your article doesn’t bash skinny women, for the love of God I am so sick of seeing any kind of body bashing. I am naturally skinny and have an amazing boyfriend and I know people who are naturally a little bigger and have awesome boyfriends. But, plot twist, I am my size because of how I am naturally, not because my boyfriend wants me that way. Women aren’t required to live to please men.
Yikes. I thought it was a cute, relatable article. Keep it up Rachel 🙂
