I live on the upper east side and I strongly disagree with the first tip, there is a Lily store not even a block from where I live. Yes people do wear more Lily in the south but people don’t only wear black in New York. Lily shift dresses are great and my friends and I would always wear them in the spring and summer when we were growing up and still do to this day. I own more items from Lily than I can count and I am constantly adding to my collection. I have never had anyone ever say that my Lily is weird, ugly or too colorful. Actually get many compliments when I am wearing Lily .
