being born and raised in jersey, but in princeton, i would just like to say that as a resident of the nice, affluent, part of the state, we hate guidos too. we don’t go to that part of the jersey shore because we have our own private beaches in spring lake and mantaloking. i went to 0ne of the most prestigious boarding schools in the country, lawrenceville. i’d also like to point out that the overwhelmingly majority of prestigous boarding schools are in the north: andover, exeter, etc. not to mention prestigious colleges: harvard, yale (oh wait, the ivy league.) sorry, but uga doesn’t count. that being said, i chose to come to school in the south and although you all walk slower and talk weirder, it’s not that bad. not everyone from the north is a tragic guido stereotype.
