what do you all think about the “boyfriend” style jeans? what would you wear with them to make them look cute/feminine?
You’ve got to pinch roll the bottoms, wear them with a cute tank top (preferably floral to maintain your femininity), and either an adorable blazer or a coordinating cardigan. I would also wear them with a pair of oxfords or the ever classic boat shoe. Oh and make sure the tank is not too baggy/ loose because that would not be a super flattering silhouette.

Why would you wear boat shoes when you’re not near the water? I will admit that I did this when it became a huge trend in 8th Grade, but i would never do it now.
Daisy, if I recall correctly, you’re not even in college yet, so why would you have any idea what people wear? Stop trying to be a little brat on the internet, it is very unbecoming, and no one likes a judgmental little high school girl. If either of my sisters were acting like this and posting on this site, I would personally deactivate their accounts. Also if you’re so “srat” and rich, what kind of pep school did you go to where boat shoes weren’t in every girl’s closet?

Daisy, I actually go to school near the water. So, your “clever” comment isn’t nearly as insulting as you intended, sweetheart. You could try to be a little more respectful of others. It will get you much farther in the world. I believe the famous saying goes, “You attract more flies with honey than vinegar.”

That’s hilarious Daisy, but when I’m on my boat, I try not to wear my shoes on the teak deck. And going to an all girls prep school, sperrys were fine to wear with my oxford and skirt. also when you have to walk a fair amount to get from class to class sperrys are fairly awesome in that regard, no ones wants to be balancing a bag of books, a lap top and teetering in heels. Trying too hard = NS

between the boy and the friends going off to OCS this summer it’s hard, but it’s so worth it to see the look of accomplishment they have right after they graduate!
it was a good first try, shake off the negativety people are giving you, you learned for next time! but rasberries would have made cute stripes. I made a a pie and did tiny little stars around the crust, gotta keep those desserts patriotic!

hmm sweetie- not so much. One stick and a few (albeit cute) ribbons comes no where near golf, ski, or sailing expenses…. and of course lets not even begin to compare eq to FH.
I think FH’s cute and def srat but it is too new to be “classic” and can def be pretty cheap on the spectrum.
southrnbelle, bless your heart dear, a sport doesn’t have to cost loads of money to make it sratty, field hockey is a total prep school sport, making it a totes srat sport. I played field hockey and lacrosse in prep school, swam and played tennis for my club. And I was a competitive cheerleader until I was 14 and had to give it up for my figure skating. And so you know I had plenty of offers to play field hockey and lacrosse, and I’m still playing lacrosse. the boys love the little skirts.
