Yes, I am sure I am not a GDI. I am sorry I misspoke. I didn’t realize I had to be so politically correct on a website. Clearly I know it is referred to as recruitment not rush week. Obviously, I would never say that when it came to a legitimate conversation, but it is just a comment on TSM. I was just trying to make the point that I am annoyed that some girls think they are in a sorority before they even get on campus, didn’t mean to offend anyone.

Daisy Buchanan, I am not trying to be rude but honestly you can not completely understand the greek system until you are officially part of it (aka you are initiated). There may be parts of your life that are similar to greeks (this was true for many of us in high school), but you can’t actually pull a TSM until you are in a sorority. Love the name though!

snaps to this!! so sick of girls who already think theyre in sororities just because theyre legacies or think they are “sratty”. I am tired of them thinking they know what sisterhood or being part of a sorority means before they even get to rush week, let alone get initiated. God help them if they get dropped!

Atelier Aimee – Pass by the dress shop window in Florence, Italy and you will absolutely fall in love. I did. And will be going back for my gown. I am sure you will feel the same way… see for yourself.

I looked at this after I saw your post, and the dresses are gorgeous! thank you for posting this! I am also a huge fan of Amsale dresses. There is something about them that is carefree yet beautiful. Monique Lhuillier is also stunning. I am also a fan of Lazaro, Reem Acra, and Romona Keveza dresses. Just a little comment about Pnina Tornai. I completely agree that her designs are great, but I am sure all of us have seen Say Yes to the Dress where some terribly tacky girl buys the dress with the sheer corset. I am just not a huge fan of that style, but some of her other dresses are fabulous!

I agree. I have never tried to fake a southern accent, and I do not agree with those who do. However, since being home people have mentioned my voice has a very small accent to it. Faking a southern accent is never okay, but it is true that being surounded by people who all have one can lead you to start sounding similar but not drastically change your voice. I will say that I say y’all now, not because I want to sound southern but sometimes it is easier.
