So many guys in my unit do not act like gentlemen when they go out (and drink), some do. 2 and 3 I have no idea where you draw the correlation from. 8 he has probably had a long distance relationship and swears never again. The divorce rate is very high in the military. The military does not teach independence until you rank up alot. Being lower enlisted you rely on your squad leader and the nco’s do the thinking for you.

I’m from the midwest but this article may have just convinced me to move to the south after college.
