I’m about to go through recruitment as RC for the first time. My big was RC the past 2 years so I thought it would be easy(ish). I’m already so freaked out and over whelmed. Also just realized big will be a senior and might not give AF. Wish me luck ladies dealing with the “oh sorry I’ll be on vacation the first few days” and other blah blah bullshit I’m getting.
Giving a girl your hair tie hard fucking core. Because we all know the day you buy a pack you have like 100, the days after you have one or 2 you hold on to for dear life. Also sorority food….. so much yes.
I feel ya girl. I’m going to my junior year and will be living at this insane house an alum bought as an investment about 20 years ago. It houses 14-18 girls. The graduating seniors make a list of who is invited to live there. Its a huge deal for us. Hell the master retreat has 4 full sized beds. Its reserved for juniors and then the rest of the house has double bedrooms and a few fought over single bedrooms. There is only one single that has an a full en suite bathroom and its in the basement. Guess where I am assigned. basically “we fucking love you but keep your projects, boys and noise contained”. No complaints except I share a wall with the “shack room”…….
seriously what the fuck is wrong with you????????? she had 20+ girls agreeing with her. Personally I SO glad my actual dad left the home when I was really young. Nothing my mom did was ever right. My mother is a typical old school house wife (even though she has a law degree). When my siblings and I were little she did all of those things and my step dad treated her like a freakin queen. Once we all were in kindergarten or older she went back to work. They took turns cooking dinner and doing all that makes a family happy. I will be a Bitch here and since I stopped reading your nonsense half way that you aren’t even in a sorority and you are just some bitter bitch. Get it over yourself. my actual dad is a bad guy but my step dad is awesome yet I still have some “daddy issues” or issues with a self absorbed man who never gave a shit but always played child support. Is hope to god you aren’t part of my panhel family!!!
Blondie we are clicking. I couldn’t agree more. like who tf actually orders a tequila sunrise, um ever??? its just gross! Shots and beer in the morning are tailgating only. Screwdrivers are a bit much. Bloody Marys can actually be really good if they are made right and ice cold. Mimosas all the way. Buuuut if you are going to be on any kind of water in the morning then you do you. Not going to lie I drank several beers last week on the beach before 10am 🙂
I thought about writing a comment a few days ago when a reader wrote to Rachel. Here is how I see it. You could rave on and on about all the good it does for you but family or friends won’t listen. Just continue to excel and let that grad cap with your letters on it do all the work. If it bothers you that much just wear something else (like a shack shirt, jk). Or maybe skip a family function. Or be snappy and say “it’s a great part of my life but did you hear I’m on deans list AGAIN? Also I got promoted at my job!” Please tell me about what is new with you. Most people who pick on others don’t have much going on in their own lives!
