For work attire: Brooks Brothers, Elie Tahri, TM Lewin (British) Pencil skirts (sorry JCrew). Thomas Pink, Brooks Brothers, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, and (maybe) Jcrew shirts. I do however love the Jackie cardigans with tanks for the summer. Sweaters for the winter obvi. Every girl especially in the financial field needs a pair of brown crocadile pumps, you will turn heads.
I would not be caught dead in Chacos or Louis, and I’m not the biggest Longchamp fan either(didn’t even know what Vera Bradley is- looked it up. uhm ew.). Tory Burch makes some really simple cute bags that are more affordable for school, but it is my personal opinion that investing in something truly beautiful and individual for school like a Bottega or Balenciaga is a must- Barneys has some really great ones that are simple and huge and that way we don’t look like a group of clones when walking to class.
For shoes in general, I try to avoid flip flops(true life: they’re #trashy, sorry bout it) in favor of simple fun sandals, someone has already said something about Tory Burch sandals, but on the Jack Rogers- just because Neiman carries something doesn’t mean it isn’t trashy, they respond to demand so if it’s within the Neiman price point and people want it they’ll carry it…. are trashy Florida people also incapable of individual thought?. Guiseepe Zanotti is also great for ones that are similar to Jack Rogers but better put together. Also slip off sandals can disappear during the inevitable extended blackout on vacay or gameday-so much better to have something actually attached to your feet.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned yoga pants- I refuse to dress up for class but I live in my Lululemons- so comfy and they make even amazing asses look that much more fantastic. American Apparel Viscose tanks and tees are also vital to my wardrobe- summer and winter they’re soooo amazingly comfortable. Stay Sratty ladies!
I agree, but Bottega is something you buy when you have def made it. Like you own your own company. Its for older people like my Mother, it doesn’t look right if a 21 year old was buying/carrying a Cervo. But if you can afford it then go for it Sweet Pea!
There is nothing wrong with private school daycare. If you have the money to send your 3 year old to a $2,000+ a month private daycare just to socialize with other kids, why not?
