You are a stronger woman than I. I’m not sure I could handle having so many of my loved ones in the military! God bless you and your family & boyfriend!

If that is really Engaged and underage in her picture she is hot as hell. That is all.

I would fight off a pack of silver back gorillas wielding only a wiffle bat, would walk across the entire Sahara desert with my legs tied together, with only the Mexican soccer teams post game sweat as my water supply and nothing to eat but asparagus (and I hate asparagus) just to have a seafood dinner over Skype with “Engaged and underage” on a dial-up connection.

I would follow her into the mists of Avalon, if that’s what you mean.

Wow, thanks guys! Yes, that’s me in my picture!

I love this entire discussion. You ladies have such great taste so I’m hoping you’ll be able to help me out. I’m looking for a small (think just for the essentials), light brown leather cross body bag for tailgating and haven’t been able to find one that I love enough to commit to. I’m not really into embellishments on my bags as I’d like it to be as neutral as possible. Any ideas where I can find something similar to what I described?

I really like Dooney and Bourke’s leather bags. I have a few of their vinyl ones too, such as their nylon crossbody bag: http://www.dooney.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?section=48741

I also have a few vintage all-weather leather cross body bags from Dooney, which I love.

For what you’re looking for, I recently bought this in the “Natural” color and I love it: http://www.dooney.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?section=53983

They also have this in their Florentine collection: http://www.dooney.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?section=54003

I needed something similar for my trip to Italy this summer and I got one at Michael Kors that I absolutely love! I carried it all over the country with my phone, small wallet, compact, and lip gloss and it was perfect! I still carry it everywhere! I checked the website and it didn’t show the bag I have but if you check out a department store or a Michael Kors outlet store you can definitely find a cute one!

You think being pale is gross? Well, pretty sure most people agree that a 25-year-old woman with the skin of a 60-year-old is even more gross. And for the last time, tanning beds DO NOT have benefits to your health. Yes, our bodies need Vitamin D, but indoor tanning provides radiation far in excess of what is needed to get enough vitamin D and as a result, too much radiation exposure can actually remove Vitamin D from the body. So no, tanning beds are not in any way beneficial to your health.

As far as people looking terrible while they’re pale, allow to me provide you a list of incredibly beautiful celebrities who sport pale skin all year round: Taylor Swift, Naomi Watts, Kristen Bell, Holly Madison, Erin Andrews, Emma Watson, Whitney Port, Christina Aguilera, Emmy Rossum, Lea Michele, January Jones, Natalie Portman, Olivia Wilde, Kate Middleton, Megan Fox… Sorry, but I don’t think people see Megan Fox as gross because she has fair skin. Your argument has no merit, so next time you would like to make a point, make sure you actually have a valid point. Thanks for playing.

Alright I’m going to try to post this again:
Ok Kappa G, since you are so keen on trying to be right, I will prove you wrong…again. You are indeed picking fights on TSM because you’ve contributed rude and argumentative comments on pretty much any TSM that includes tanning. If you see value in having color in your skin, you need to re-evaluate your values, sweetie. It’s not insecurities that have us telling you that tanning and purposely aiming for dark skin will lead to cancer and wrinkles, it’s basic intelligence. Have you picked up a magazine lately? They are filled to the brim on the dangers of exposing your skin to too much sun. As a member of standards, telling your fellow sisters to subject themselves to such risks just so YOU can feel like your sorority is the “pretty and tan one” is selfish and shallow, not to mention extraordinarily immature. Looking perfect and skinny and tan is NOT, I repeat NOT, the point of a sorority, honey. Being a part of a sorority is about life-long bonds and growing together as sisters and becoming the best you can possibly be, not trying to prove to everyone that you’re as close to a Barbie as humanly possible. Sorry, but this isn’t high school anymore.

A-freakin-men. As a side note, sorry to hear about your irregular moles, Bow. I don’t go to tanning beds at all and I had a strange mole show up on my shoulder. I got it removed and biopsied, and thankfully it wasn’t cancerous, but I know how scary it can be. Get them checked out ASAP, girl! And good luck! 🙂

Being tan does not make you hotter. And I hate to break it to you sweetheart, but there is nothing about a tanning bed that is “good for you.” Period. The only people who say that something good can come out of tanning bed use is working for a tanning company and all they care about is getting your money. I highly recommend you read this article:

No offense, but no self respecting sorority girl would post a picture of their newest pledge class on this site because it’s only going to be torn apart by horny fraternity men. And that picture with the girls in the white has to be fake….literally terrible.

Thank you. That is why I haven’t posted a picture of my chapter’s adorable babies; I don’t want people (read: ignorant fratstars) ripping on them or saying that they’re hot or whatever.

(read: I’m in the fat sorority, but don’t actually know it)

Read: you’re stupid and can’t come up with an intelligent response. Ladies, Panhel love. I completely agree with you both!

    Run along dear, man talk.

It’s sad that you think you can be rude to a girl even if it is over the internet, when fraternity men talk about gentlemen. And even though you should treat any girl with respect, you picked an absolutely beautiful girl? That doesn’t seem smart at all…

Aww thanks girl! Glad somebody else here shares my sentiments! I go to State too! What sorority are you in?
