I actually really liked all of them! Except for Delta Gammas, that was a little bit of a let-down šŸ™ I was going to get something with the DG print for my mom since she’s a DG but I’m not a huge fan of it so I’m rethinking that. But I especially loved Chi O’s print, so presh! Congrats to all the ladies for their beautiful new prints!

No offense, but no self respecting sorority girl would post a picture of their newest pledge class on this site because itā€™s only going to be torn apart by horny fraternity men. And that picture with the girls in the white has to be fakeā€¦.literally terrible.

Thank you. That is why I havenā€™t posted a picture of my chapterā€™s adorable babies; I donā€™t want people (read: ignorant fratstars) ripping on them or saying that theyā€™re hot or whatever.

Read: youā€™re stupid and canā€™t come up with an intelligent response. Ladies, Panhel love. I completely agree with you both!

    Run along dear, man talk.

Honey, you’re on a thread started by a girl to see other girls post pictures of their new pledges. Sorry you can’t come up with an intelligent response either.

Oh that’s awful! I’m so sorry! I know how frustrating it is to have a debilitating health problem and not have any answers or solutions. But MHNI is great, if anyone can help you, they can! You’re welcome and GOOD LUCK!

True, but when people ask me what my own major is, I say pre-dental because technically I’m getting my undergrad degree in biology, but my ultimate goal isn’t just a degree in biology, it’s a D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery). It’s the same thing as saying you’re pre-law.

Noo not at all! I tell everybody about it because as cheesy as this sounds, they changed my life! I used to have debilitating, ferocious migraines every single day and it was complete hell. After seeing several different neurologists, my mom went online and found this place: Michigan Headache and Neurological Institute, a.k.a. MHNI. Ever heard of Mayo Clinic? It’s one of the best in the country, and they send the people even they can’t help to MHNI.
MHNI is in Ann Arbor, Michigan, so it’s pretty far but it’s completely worth it. If you want to be a patient, I would suggest going over winter break or the summer because to be treated fully, they admit you to their section of the local hospital for a week or two, but the spaces are limited. They assign an entire team (doctors, nurses, practitioners, etc) to your specific case and have a plan of which medications they want to try already mapped out for your entire stay in the hospital. They won’t prescribe any kind of narcotic because they don’t want patients getting addicted to their medications, and offer meditation, yoga, and migraine classes while you’re in the hospital. It’s an amazing place, I can’t say enough good things about them! LIOB and hope your headaches get better, I know what you’re going through!

Yes, Excedrin has caffeine in it, as well as many other headache medications, but caffeine additives make pain relievers 40% more effective in treating migraines. And actually, caffeine is great for migraines because it constricts your blood vessels. You just have to remember to have some food in your stomach so you don’t make it worse. After being a patient at one of the best head pain clinics in the country for several years (they take the cases no one else can solve), I consider myself something of an expert on migraines! šŸ˜›

A word of advice from someone who has chronic migraines: something with caffeine (soda, chocolate, whatever), one Excedrin migraine and one aspirin! Works better than most of the prescriptions I’ve tried!
