I had a similar recruitment experience. Most Girls already have self esteem issues and the tier system hurts those who already feel “average” or “bottom”. I’m not going to lie and say I’ve never felt ‘less than’ because of my houses ranking, but I’ve learned to see it doesn’t define me. It’s hard to see past those houses getting the thrilling part of being “top”, getting courted by hot guys, having a packed social schedule etc. Ultimately, these things are not reasons I was going to join a house, but I 100% relate to how you’re feeling. I hope that you eventually find happiness in your chapter, as I have found in mine.
