You are awesome for sharing this and for being you. I also had a similar experience that made me realize I could get mad and call out someone for trying to mistreat me. Women especially are not encouraged to do this. So I think you’re amazing because, if by sharing this story, you can prevent one person from learning this the hard way, you have made a difference.
