I’ve gained back a lot if confidence in the past year but truthfully I’m a dependent person. I have dreamed about happily coming home to my husband. That person that will relish in my victories and lend me a shoulder when I need a cry. I mean, if that person wasn’t my husband it would be a friend or a family member (…just without the sex). Idk, I have always wanted love to exist and I know I’m a special kind of partner. “I desire to share my life with with a special man friend” -awkward braces/acne cursed teenage diary circa 2009

Because maybe they’re not insecure with him but more insecure with themselves. I’m very insecure though I think I compose myself well; I’ve been cheated on 8 times and with a clear mind I know that it’s my fault for picking douchebags. Like half of them were just downright obvious, too, and that use to make me feel really stupid. For a long time my only thoughts were “What’s wrong with me” and it gets harder and harder to trust with that train of thought. I’ve had a lot of these thoughts before but I like to encourage women to think better than this. There are men in this world that wouldn’t want to live another day without seeing you smile; find those men! It’s hard as hell, don’t get me wrong but at least there would be a peaceful state of mind in their presence.

Beautiful Textures Curl Control Defining Pudding and Beautiful Textures Moisture Butter Whipped Curl Creme! Literally the only products I have been using for the last five years because I haven’t found anything else that defines my curls so well without making it ‘crunchy.’ I use them both interchangeably; I’ve found that the whipped curl creme works magnificently through the most humid of days, though, but both bring exceptional shine to my hair and help tremendously with frizz. They’re sold in Sally’s and both are $6.99 (I occasionally buy them in bulk online). Everyone always compliments me on how I smell, too. It doesn’t contain any alcohol (thus no crunchy curls) and ingredients include argan oil, coconut oil, olive oil, soybean oil, Shea butter, mango butter and more smell goods. I truly refuse to use anything else. I wish I would’ve found this stuff through my awkward phase of high school… might have been a little less awkward.
