How did I know this was from UTSA without even looking at the comments? I’m pretty sure NOTHING coming out of little mexico is a TSM.

that is disgusting for you to do to your roommate, but also gross that you’d want someone else’s toothbrush touching you. nothing about this is sratty.

At least she won’t get skin cancer or look like a leather bag. Good for you, MLC!

I ate the food even if I didn’t want to because I thought it would seem rude to turn my nose up at something they had put together for me. I’m sure lots of girls feel this way, so this TSM is just stupid.

My boyfriend just got me the HUGE Longchamp bag (that way I can take it on weekend trips/use it as a carryon) and I’m having trouble figuring out how to organize the inside. I’m used to a Coach tote that has plenty of pockets, but it was too small for my grad school needs :( Anyone have any suggestions? Cute pencil cases and things like that?

In terms of fall fashion, I’m in search of the perfect pair of riding boots on a grad school budget. I’m still in love with the classic Polo crewneck cable sweater, and I have a Burberry chunky knit sweater I love too (hello cold Northern climate!). I’m really not a fan of Banana or J. Crew all that much, I feel like their clothes are too big on me. For jeans I love Joe’s, they’re super comfortable and actually fit me with minimal alterations. I definitely don’t like the ‘block heel’ trend that some designers are pushing, I just think it looks stocky and makes me look like I have super short legs!

Best websites for shopping: Asos (British company, cheap way to get trendy items you don’t want to spend much money on!), RueLaLa (flash sales…everything from Vineyard Vines to Lilly to Vera, I’ve even seen Louie/Gucci/Prada on there), Gilt Groupe (same concept, more obscure and upscale designers)

DSW has some affordable and very adorable riding boots. They have some lesser known brands but also I saw some by Steve Madden. I found my pair last year and I’m looking forward to wearing them again once it gets a little cooler.

for a casual pair of flip-flop sandals, which do you all think is cuter? tory burch printed flipflops or a classic pair of rainbows. I’ve had (and lost, hence my problem) both and I feel like rainbows are a little more comfortable, but I’m torn between which to get a new pair of. what do you all think?

Thanks for the input, ladies! I got a pair of light brown rainbows today!

Daisy….I’m not sure what a “srattling” is, but you are not one. Besides, I wouldn’t count your chickens before they hatch. I would never want a girl as rude and pretentious as you are in my letters, and other sorority women might feel the same way when they meet you at recruitment.

what do you all think about the “boyfriend” style jeans? what would you wear with them to make them look cute/feminine?

You’ve got to pinch roll the bottoms, wear them with a cute tank top (preferably floral to maintain your femininity), and either an adorable blazer or a coordinating cardigan. I would also wear them with a pair of oxfords or the ever classic boat shoe. Oh and make sure the tank is not too baggy/ loose because that would not be a super flattering silhouette.

thanks! i love the cardigan/tank idea!
