Before I pledged I thought I knew what being in a sorority was all about too, but you just can’t know until you’ve felt the love and loyalty and the sisterhood I guess. It’s not all about the partying and the attitude and all that, it’s so much more. It’s a life changing experience is the problem and Daisy, your life hasn’t been touched like that. Hun, you just can’t know until you’re there and it almost seems kind of pathetic that you’re on this site trying to fit into greek life. You don’t even know if you’ll make it through RUSH yet. Sorry, I hate being mean, but I’m just trying to clarify what people are trying to make you understand.
Psych major over here. Working out and dieting may be symptoms of anorexia, but even excessive working out and dieting in no way screams anorexia. It’s a psychological disease where you have a distorted body image. This poor girl is just trying to get into shape and I’d say taking the initiative to be healthy is something to be proud of.
Agreed. Say all you want about the size of her dog, but if it actually stops barking when she says, “Be classy!” that’s just hilarious.
And FYI Daisy, there is a such thing as a women’s fraternity…even though no one was actually talking about that.
