War happens to be a large portion of American history and so does rape just in case you forgot how European settlers treated Native Americans when America was first colonized (and after.) This article isn’t saying that individuals whom have experienced said traumatic events will be singled out. It’s just saying that The University of Chicago will not prosecute a student or professor for voicing their opinion on touchy subjects. The University is giving students and professors the chance to fully partake in the use of their first amendment for the benefit of their academic experience and I condone.
