Ok ladies, here’s the thing as much it enraged some of you about the Lilly Scandal, I want to remind you why this was a blessing in disguise. Realistically, despite what the world thinks, sorority girls do not come in 1 size. We are all shapes and sizes. We also, do not all have parents who can afford to pay for our dues and etc. I know that I cannot afford to buy $80 shorts from Lilly P, nor could I ever in my skinniest day, be able to fit into anything Lilly Pulitzer. Not all of us ladies are fortunate to have slim hips and flat tummies like some our sisters. So it’s a great feeling to walk in to Old Navy and see that they have clothes that I can wear and that I can finally feel a bit less shabby when standing next to my sisters in something similar to Lilly Pulitzer. Old Navy shouldn’t have been a copy cat, but Lilly shouldn’t have clothes that cost more than my dues each month. Also Old Navy is still a great place to shop especially if your plus size, and it’s affordable for people on a budget.
    Kisses
