As an alumni of Southeast and an alumni member of a non-Panhellenic sorority, I’m honestly disgusted by the article The Arrow released. Even though my sorority is non-selective, there are times I wish it was. We receive Members-In-Training that drop us because we ask them to wear business attire once a week for a one hour meeting. Last time I checked, college was supposed to prepare us for a career and at almost any job you have to be in some sort of business attire. Those are not the kind of people you want in your organization. You want people who are dedicated and want to be there no matter what. I entirely respect Panhellenic chapters for the standards they uphold. The Arrow actually released a second article trying to clear up the original article and they just made themselves look worse. So, way to go Liv Plumlee, way to go!
