This is basically a huge paragraph saying “not all men.” Okay, not all men are going to assault women. You’re right. You think feminism is “twisted” because you feel unfairly targeted by these accusations. But hey, you don’t get a gold star for singly being a good person. Sorry. I don’t think its fair to hear a few things you don’t like about feminism and just check out. It’s not something set in stone, it’s what you make of it. How you behave and treat women. How men are treated because of the underlying patriarchy and the constant need to be “manly” in society. It hurts everyone. Arguing against feminism just makes you look like an ass here. If there’s something you don’t like about the movement- uh, don’t do that? Just treat everyone as a human with equal rights. Just because not all men are like that, doesn’t mean there isn’t a problem. Just because not all Greeks assault women, doesn’t mean there isn’t a problem with the parties and things that go on at events connected to Greek life.
Gender roles are destructive to everyone. Instead of leaving comments against feminism, go change something! Be a better person. Listen to women. Listen to men. Step out of your gender roles. Men need feminism. Women need feminism.
