In case you weren’t paying attention during the announcement, Janie is a Kappa and that probably has a lot to do with why they were chosen. She also referenced that other employees were sorority members, which probably influenced the selection of the original four. Those that have prints should feel privileged and enjoy the honor, but be lady enough not rub it in. Accept that these sororities have a coveted Lilly pattern and know that someday maybe others will too. I am proud to be a member of one of the original four sororities, but I in no way think that this means I am better than anyone. I love my sisters, but also have friends and family that are in sororities that found out today they too would be getting patterns and still more that will not be getting a pattern. We need to remember our manners.
