I was wondering about that! Every time I’ve used Bare Minerals I feel like my face gets super shiny by mid-day. So the primer works well for that? I noticed that I broke out when I tried Smashbox primer, is BM any better?
i was just at ulta yesterday picking out a primer and one of the consultants told me that the smashbox primer works well for shine, but it has silicone in it, which holds the oil down on your skin and causes breakouts in a lot of people. so i passed on that one, and thought i would try the bare minerals oil control one. the other one that sounded really good was urban decay primer potion. the bare minerals one is supposed to help clear breakouts, and urban decay is anti-aging. it really came down to price for me and bare minerals was somewhat cheaper. has anyone tried both? i was gonna go for urban decay next time…
I also just bought most of The Luxe series to read this summer. A few of my sisters read them and have been raving about them ever since.
i LOVED the Luxe series. i was so sad when i finished it because i wanted to keep reading it so bad!
one of my favorite authors is Deb Caletti. “Honey, Baby, Sweetheart” is the cutest and funniest book I’ve ever read. all of her others are pretty good as well.
lately i just finished “Beautiful Americans” and “The Au Pairs” and plan to read the rest of both series they were great!

i love anything with horses!!! equestrian sports are wonderful and lifelong passions, i’m so excited to have little equestrian daughters too lol. i also played tennis, and i was a swimmer all through high school. swimming might not be as sratty but it definitely keeps you in awesome shape. running’s great too!
