I understand that at Creighton University you have to pay a lot for the dorms but you get a lot out of living in one. Honestly, it’s cheaper to live on campus at times than it is off campus. You get maintenance paid for you, you don’t have to pay separate water/electricity/gas, AND you split the cost with 4 other girls in the jr./sr. dorms! Honestly, it is worth it because while at Creighton you get a great education that is highly valuable in the marketplace, honestly you need that now-a-days because there is so much competition out there. Also, sororities can’t have houses in Omaha because in Omaha a house with 5+ women living together is considered a brothel. So it’s also easy for a lot of people to live on campus so they can have their chapter meetings, bible studies, etc., etc.! So don’t bash on something you don’t know about. The point is is that Creighton University has a lot to offer so paying for the dorms is just a part of it.
Creighton University is a private Catholic Jesuit university and they were included.
