Actually standard is in between 15% and 20% and it’s considered more appropriate to leave 20%. Also, it’s not just people who have worked food service that leave better tips although those people tend to leave really nice tips if the service is phenomenal and they can afford it (I worked food service for a while in high school myself though not as a waitress). Also, based on what I’ve observed it’s obnoxious rich pricks like you that leave the worst tips. Seriously dude you have more money and can afford to spend more than most of us so show some kindness to the people you classify as “poors” since they have to work for a living. Most waiters and waitresses are either college kids trying to pay their way through school or parents that lost their jobs and need to do this so they’re kids can have decent food. Show some respect. These people swallow their pride on a daily basis to perform a job where they get very little respect from their customers and still have to kiss the ass of stupid little rich kids like you so grow up, learn to tip, and stop thinking your money makes you better than everyone else.

Seriously? A guy can only cry at funerals and weddings? Because my step-dad is a fraternity man and the first time I saw him cry was 9/11 because he had brothers that worked at the world trade center and were on the missing list. He also cried when he gave the speech at my high school graduation, the day he and my mother held my baby sister as she died in their arms, the day we had to put down our dog, and the day he had to tell me my grandmother (his mom) had terminal cancer and there was nothing that could be done. None of these were funerals or weddings, but I don’t think most girls would see anything wrong with their guy crying at similar occasions. Do you?

Your parents must be so proud, wearing a family heirloom to tailgating party.

So you think an older man with a family (and apparently young children if someone has to make their lunch for school) should celebrate valentine’s day the same way as a college guy? Last I checked other than school stuff most college guys don’t have real expenses whereas the man with the family does. I’m the oldest of three and the youngest is six years old and I know my mom would be thrilled if my stepdad gave her a little less work to do or a little quiet time for Valentine’s Day. Not to mention clothes are a perfectly acceptable gift to get your wife for Valentine’s Day because they probably want them and DON’T have the money to randomly buy them when they don’t need new ones if they have young children.

Wow so you’re a fake asshole that turns away girls because they don’t look the part of a sorority girl and can’t accept people for who they are? Yeah I can totally understand why the PNMs are beating down your door…
