Yes so true. Summertime in Northern Michigan is GORGEOUS! Part of the reason I attend Northern Michigan University. Have you ever been to the Upper Penninsula? Simply gorgeous! Marquette is beautiful and right on Lake Superior!
IF you have never been to Michigan, you have no right to even have an opinion about it. The news makes it seem bad, but it’s a lovely state, and there are VERY nice suburbs right next to the city of detroit. In fact Grosse Pointe (which is right next to detroit) is one of the richest cities in Michigan. Go driving down lakeshore, and you’ll see for yourself 🙂 I would know, I’ve lived in MIchigan all my life.
