Yeah, one thing about most of us is that even though we can be assholes, we’re usually joking. Most girls are being dead serious with all the “he ain’t touching me if he ain’t rich” type deal.
I disagree. My friends and I joke about marrying for money all the time, but in reality, it would never be the deciding factor. Plus, just like men would like an attractive woman by their sides, women would like a financially stable man by theirs.
There are too many things to count that mother has told me, so here’s two of them: “Don’t chase men. If he is interested in you, he will pursue you.” and “Marry someone who can maintain the standard of living you grew up with or better.”
My grandmother’s version of the second one was: “If you only date men who maintain or better your standard of living, then you’ll marry one who maintain or better you standard of living.”
My grandmother’s version of this: “If you don’t want to marry a garbage man, don’t date a garbage man.” (constantly repeated by my dad)
I think the reason you spend so much time over here is this is as close as you can actually get to women. What’s with consistently being one of the first to post a comment?
