LYCY, your comment is much worse than the original post and you clearly haven’t looked very far. Lilly models are moderately attractive but I certainly wouldn’t call them gorgeous. I guess to each their own though.
Aww bless your little heart. Rubies and pearls makes you either an ASA or an AOPi and the only chapter of Phi Mu in Texas that is on campus with either/both of those chapters is UTSA where Phi Mu is top tier and those sororities well….aren’t. Sorry we’re not sorry. LIOB to the original poster!
Well then the same could be said about the Farmville Four or any other sororities founded on the same campus, just because one sorority is founded in a given area doesn’t mean the ones that follow are copycats. I won’t deny that we share some of the same things, such as the mascot, but we also have so many things separate. Our flowers, our creed, our badge, our colors are all different. I know that the diamond bears a strong meaning to yall and the quatrefoil bears a strong and unique-to-the-shape meaning to us so I don’t feel like that was copied. All in all I know that our founders were noble women and the founding of our societies were probably done in a kind and collaborative effort. We were founded only nine months after yall and I’ve read that’s only because of inefficient processing so we’re even closer. I totally agree that we should default to ladybugs when we are on the same campus as a courtesy to yall. I celebrate the ladybug as our “other” mascot. There isn’t an ADPi chapter on my campus and Phi Mu is extremely dear to my heart, but if I had the choice of all the NPC sororities minus Phi Mu I would choose ADPi because I really respect yall, I just don’t feel like there was anything bitter or vindictive about Phi Mu and ADPi being founded and I don’t feel as though either of our groups of founders would support such negativity as was being supported by the post above.
fratican- That’s actually not true and there is no evidence to support that. People can be roommates and not share the same friends. That’s just a sad little rumor perpetuated by the misinformed. Besides, you should be supportive of your Macon Magnolia sisters since they’re the closest to your own sorority. I still love all of my Macon Magnolias regardless of whether they are a Phi Mu or an ADPi.<3
