However, this article like said in a comment above, is not to body shame, but rather to point out how well Zoe handled a situation that DID involve actual body shaming and stereotyping from a student. It would only make sense to point out some common stereotypes in this article since Zoe was personally attacked based solely on one of those stereotypes. This article does not discount or personally shame anyone, it just provides contrast to further support the story of the comment of the student, and then in turn, the response. Furthermore, even with this article completely aside, the way Zoe handled the situation shows volumes of character and grace. That is the entire reason it has received attention–because of Zoe’s reaction.
