Speaking as someone who watched this law and its backlash unfold in Indiana, I can proudly say that Indianapolis in particular is an incredibly welcoming place that did everything in its power to fight RFRA and its potentially discriminatory effects. Yes we chose a moron of a governor and hopefully this is a wake up call to people in our generation to not just vote for someone because our parents vote republican and he has republican next to his name. That being said, I respect your cause and agree with your point of view that this law is wrong. Writing an article trying to capitalize on attention over an issue that happened a month ago and had serious backlash without researching that as well honestly just feels disrespectful toward my city and all we did to try to repeal this law.
