    Bless your heart for trying. An opportunity cost something you have to sacrifice or give up in order to do something else. So an opportunity cost of going to college might be something like working full time at a shitty job, or watching TV in your parent’s basement all day. Now, if you want to sound smart, when they ask you what a positive externality of going to college is, you can say “sorority life!” …This is why some sorostitutes should be allowed to take Econ courses.
