As an upperclassmen, THANK YOU! Even though we won’t have the 4 year routine, with what years we do have, we will dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly. As a junior who rushed, it was hard but I’m not holding a position and already being talked to by advisors for future positions in my sorority.
Long story short, no matter what age, we will give you our full hearts when you give us your letters. <3

Just because we’re not fresh out of high school doesn’t me we won’t give you our hearts when you give us your letters. <3
This isn’t the concept of the letters at all. It also doesn’t matter that they’re “younger” than the traditions of the culture. Hot piece brings up a great point that others fear to bring up because people are so overly sensitive to classify what everything is. Yes, we don’t like putting people in a stereotypical box that tells them who they are, how they act and what they do as a culture but sometime we need to to find out differences and explore new things.
As she stated above, people don’t know how to classify someone as African American for example because of how easily offended everyone is getting.
FIJI has never made their letters put towards use to offend or degrade any culture or types of people. This would easily relate if someone came from Greece and told us to stop using our letters to classify a group because it’s offensive to Greek people to use their alphabet. FIJI, like any dedicated group of Fraternity would agree, their letters are sacred and shouldn’t be ripped from them almost 200 years later.
I wholeheartedly respect your opinion and do agree with most of what you’re saying, so I this opinion is heard with no offense taken.
I’ve been waiting for an article like this. It’s hard to read articles about the love between bigs and littles when you’ve tried so hard to create it yourself but your big isn’t budging. Thank you so much.
I transfered from a community college and I’m thankful for getting a bid after falling in love with AOII. Going through as a sophomore or junior, it isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
I don’t see why Anti-“Slut Shaming” is a bad idea. A girl can have as much sex as she wants. It’s up to her. Why concern yourself with her body? If she wants to have sex everyday, let her. I know this has been said multiple times but let a girl go. She’s none of your concern unless she is personally going for you. The tattoo idea, I do agree with you on though.
