Thank you for this. My parents are both teachers (and therefore don’t make much money at all) and they both managed to pay for 4 years of my education. Although I had to pay for books and my 5th year in school, I’ve been made to feel guilty about my parents helping me out, which is just silly. Why should I feel bad when my parents saved, budgeted, and encouraged me to apply for scholarships to fund my education? Why should I feel bad about my parents caring enough about me to sacrifice extra luxuries so that I could graduate with minimal debt? I’m not ashamed, I’m thankful!
I know exactly how you feel! I had other girls ask me when I was nine (yes, NINE!) if I was anorexic. I just come from a family of naturally small people, it was really upsetting to hear people thought that about me, especially at such a young age.
I agree, especially with bandanas. If you wear a bandana around my campus, people are going to assume you’re playing Humans vs. Zombies, which is pretty much as geed-y as you can get.
Heck, I went further than that; I asked my brother who all from his graduating class is coming to my school, then looked up all of them in the yearbook and Facebook.
I agree with this 100%. One of my sisters tried it out to make guy friends, made it clear that was all she wanted, and still had a guy attempt to make out with her when they met up even though she made it very clear she was off the market. I will never use it because of creeps like that.
I’d like to add that I never brag about this in real life, but if it pops up in conversation, I’ll mention it in passing.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way about that ad. Thanks for posting this!

Apparently they finally caught the losers that did it. One of them worked at Tri Delta’s national headquarters. http://news.msn.com/crime-justice/texas-couple-arrested-for-suspected-dollar400000-sorority-pin-heist

I think your chair is fabulous! Mizzou PHA-Love!
This is precious! SLAM!
Can’t exactly be at the bars all day when your birthday’s on a Monday.
You’re obviously still in high school, considering not only your screen name, but the maturity and lack of proper grammar in your comment.

That’s adorable! SLAM
I absolutely love this!
It’s a month away for me and I’m already planning outfits.
If a guy’s a 10 and he’s funny as heck, he’s earned that extra credit, and I’d be willing to give it to him and bump him up to 13.
Well, guess I know who else I’m going to be following on Twitter now
I freaking love this!
I love that Magic Tree made it on TSM! PanLove!
You’re braver than me, I have no desire to go skydiving. SLAM <3
