Thanks for all your suggestions ladies! I should probably be a little specific though. I’m really prone to breakouts and have a really uneven skin tone and scarring from middle school acne, and thanks to my foundation my face is about 5 shades lighter than the rest of my body! Should I skip foundation and just use a bronzer with good coverage? Or get a darker foundation? Reaaally appreciate all the help! Panhel love!
I feel your pain trust me, I have the same issue. What I like to do is use a light coverage foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out the color, make sure it matches your neck and chest! (chanel vita lumiere aqua or laura mercier’s oil-free tinted moisturizer are good options) and then use a full coverage concealer to cover and problem areas (I like make-up forever’s concealer kit) and then if you’re prone to getting oily, like me, you can set it with a powder or i like urban decays de-lick setting spray.
Hope that helps! <3
I have the same problem engaged! I am so jealous of all the lovely girls with perfect skin! Anyway, I make sure to use a light moisturizer under my foundation (Bobbi Brown Oil Free), it helps it blend better and acts as a primer. Then I use concealer on some of my problem areas and top it off with a dusting of mineral powder. I also keep oil blotting sheets in my purse (clean & clear ones work really well). Hope this helps! Also, I have found putting a little vitamin E oil on my face before bed helps even out my skin tone.
I am also proned to breakouts and have uneven skin tone. I’ve tried everything from the clinique 3-step system to philosophy and the best things I have found are St. Ives apricot scrub and Sea breeze astringent for sensitive skin. I tried both of these products before I went to bed and by the next day almost all of my acne was gone and was completely gone by the third day. As for makeup, I used to use MAC foundation but I started using Bare Minerals and it is definitely the best makeup I’ve tried. I’d highly recommend trying these products!
It is a company car. I’ve seen it in Cameron Village several times.
