It doesn’t affect you hardly at all because you have to have a fitness class every semester so most of the time you get all the fitness points, as they call it, during the class. (I attended there that’s how I know)
Being someone who went there it’s not bad. It’s a headache but it’s not bad! They wanted us to develop healthy habits. All they monitor is how many steps you take and occasionally it will check your heart rate! They actually do give huge scholarships… Up to $25,000 a year for every year you attend! Yes it is a PRIVATE Christian university therefore the people that attend know exactly what they are agreeing to and we all loved the environment! That being said I do think it’s a little out dated on some of their policies BUT ORU is one of the more relaxed Christian Universities.
