I try so hard to be polite when that happens but I’m always surprised. I learned like 99% of the greek alphabet from hearing my dad’s brothers talk about friends they have in other chapters or math class but you’d think anybody who has been to college would eventually pick it up from being a part of campus. Apparently some campus housing is under a rock, who knew?
And there’s nothing wrong with that either; you checked out the breeder before you gave him your cash. I have just heard so many horror stories about the people who breed puppies for profit I prefer to rescue an animal from a shelter. Really even if you HAD bought from a puppy mill you are at least giving the animal a loving home so it helps. My personal favorite animal charity is the Greyhound Friends because I love greyhounds, but in addition to our greyhound we have a mutt and two barn cats that were found by our vet and taken in under their charitable wing. The four of them have the most personality of any animals I have met and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
