As a sister of a sorority at Hofstra I have to say that those exact rumors of hazing have been floating around for years now, and every year the claims get more and more outrageous. The school is really quick to punish any org that does go too far with pledging, and the sororities that have crossed the line in the past have been kicked off campus in the past few years. I can’t speak for what Kira did or did not do while a sister of Alpha Phi, but whoever was Jezebel’s “source” is just trying to blow this up. Anyone who goes here knows that those horrible hazing rumors are just old wives tales.
