I think choosing Big was ultimately the right choice. I love love love Aidan, but, frankly, he was too good for Carrie. Aidan deserved someone as good and kind as he was. Carrie was very very flawed– often self absorbed, occasionally unfaithful. And so was Big. They deserved each other. Also, Big was always the one Carrie wanted. Just because Aidan was the perfect guy doesn’t mean he was the perfect guy for Carrie.
