I’m in a sorority and have been dating a GDI for awhile now (well, he’s in a co-op house) and it hasn’t been a problem at all.
Honestly, I prefer it because he didn’t know any of my sisters before meeting me. Well, he wasn’t really friends with any of my sisters, but they had classes together. BUT, because he wasn’t close to any that meant I didn’t have to worry about dealing with anyone’s sloppy seconds. Which is good because that kinda stuff creeps me out.
He had a great time at our formal. He’s made a genuine effort to meet my pledge mom/twin/my other best friends in the house and treats them as he would any of his own close friends.
he has friends in fraternities so he doesn’t hate on the Greek system or ‘frat guys’ persay.
I think it really just depends on the personality of the guy you choose. Not every GDI is bad.
