Um, what makes you think that every Saddlebred is abused? I know one who does dressage and he loves it.
I guess I had a bad experience with a couple of high dollar show barns in SC that taught their Saddlebreds to pick their feet up by throwing fire crackers in the stall when they were foals.
While that is sad, I don’t understand why that means you have to shun an entire breed just because some of them are abused. That would be like me saying that I’ve never enjoyed Quarter Horses because some of them are western pleasure peanut rollers or because I had a bad experience watching a video of Craig Schmersal abusing his reiner (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en_90D5TOKA).
Horses of all breeds are abused. Obviously it should stop, but why discriminate against a perfectly good breed? A good horse is a good horse and should be treated as such.

I was wondering the same thing! I’m looking for a new scent but I can’t decide! There are too many to choose from! But I do love my Amazing Grace too, 1874SocietyGirl. So for right now I’m just sticking with that.
Also, what are y’all’s favorite nail colors for Summer 2011? What do y’all think about the Pirate collection by OPI? Are y’all liking that or Essie’s Brazialiant collection better?
And what size pearls do you all wear? Where I am from, a lot of girls love to wear huge pearls but I don’t know if that is just a regional thing? Are you all into the regular size or the larger ones? I have this one in buff and I love it. Enough lace to be trendy without being trashy. And it looks nice but is still casual. The buff color is perfect for those of us with a winter skin tone.
