I get that a lot of people are upset about DChi getting kicked off and it seems like they did not get totally fair treatment. But whoever told you that they were kicked off for being “upstanding gentlemen” was clearly misinformed. First, I’ve never heard of a chapter only needing to kick out 16 members during a membership review. That’s pretty weak.
The GPA of their pledges was horrible especially considering they were being watched by the school. the satellite house they had ‘no affiliation with’ was still their most frequent post game location and plenty of DChis still drank on its roof.
Do I think they should have gotten kicked off? Maybe not like this. But do I feel bad for the chapter that has been allegedly drugging girls for years? No.
