southrnbellenasaddie β I highly recommend The Poisonwood Bible. One of my all-time favorites; Barbara Kingsolver is brilliant. I just finished one of her other novels, The Lacuna, and it was amazing as well.
My favorite author is F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Iβm currently working on The Beautiful and Damned. Incredible thus far! The Great Gatsby and This Side of Paradise are my two favorites by him.
I just picked up The Help by Kathryn Stockett at the library. Such an interesting, easy read so far, and I canβt wait for the movie!
Some of my other favorite books are Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins, Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, and nearly anything Kurt Vonnegut.
I just finished The Beautiful and Damned! Love Fitzgerald. Have you read Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton? It’s the same kind of genre and really good too.
AND, I picked up The Help yesterday. No wonder we are sisters. π
I don’t know about you, but J.Crew is 100% srat here in Texas. Gingham button downs? 3 inch chinos in every color? White lace skirts? The Jackie Cardigan? Sorry we don’t need to emblazon every item of clothing we have with a logo…our style speaks for itself.
