I’m in the middle of rereading some of the Edith Wharton classics – fabulous summer reads! “The Age of Innocence” is one of my absolute favorite novels.
yess I love Edith Wharton!!! The Age of Innocence is my all time favorite and I would definitely read The Custom of the Country if you haven’t yet.
Fourteen years of pre-professional ballet training including 25-30 hrs/week all through high school. I suppose it may be more of an art than a sport, however dance requires a level of stamina, strength, and muscle control that matches any competitive athletic event.
Same! My mom pushed me into it when I was little but ballet has been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. People always underestimate the amounts of dedication and athleticism that go into being a successful dancer.
