I think the difference is that I wish I had difficult team-building activities that forced us to think critically and maybe be slightly uncomfortable with our pledge class – but that would have made us grow. Our sisterhood would have been stronger.
Events being mandatory is a big one. All of the events that are only “strongly recommended” and not mandatory have dismal attendance rates to the point where I only see the same 10 sisters at all of the events and then another 5-10 that kind of come and go.
