Naked palettes are amazing, but I have one from Smashbox that I got for Christmas that is the best thing ever. Also, best mascara definitely goes to DiorShow or, if you have a Sephora near you (hopefully) Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash. It’s like $15.00, stays on all day and gives as much curling/ false lash effects as any mascara I’ve ever had (Lancome defincils, Chanel inimitable, Diorshow, Diorshow Iconic, YSL, Dior Blackout…)
Laura Mercier however, is the worst. It says it’s non-comedegenic but I swear it will make you break out (or at least need to keep using the tinted moisturizer. I don’t know why it gets so much attention but Chanticaille’s tinted moisturizer is INCREDIBLE. It legit lasts forever, blends perfectly, and is actually good for your skin. Pick some up at your nearest Barneys or Neimans. NOW. You won’t regret it.
Clarins is great for self-tanning but St. Tropez is better (and smells SO good).
Finally, I used high beam (and all other benefit products when I was in middle school) but moon beam is the better buy if you have yellow undertones in your skin. I’m blonde with brown eyes so really pink stuff always looks funky on me– if that sounds familiar buy Moon Beam. Or Smashbox luminizer. Either way.
